During my recent trip, I stumbled upon a delightful surprise: a hike along a forest trail in Stenico that led me to Bosco Arte Stenico – an outdoor art gallery constructed entirely of woodland materials. Every year, the gallery selects a particular theme and invites artists to create site-specific installations using indigenous resources such as wood, stone, and other natural materials. This unexpected discovery highlighted the immense creative potential of natural settings while showcasing the talents of contemporary artists working outside traditional gallery spaces. Overall, it was a remarkable and inspiring experience that I did not expect from an otherwise routine excursion.

I really enjoyed seeing the organic art installations located in the forest. They blend in perfectly with their surroundings and change naturally with each passing season. My favorite pieces were the large stick sculpture, the bundle of crayons made out of logs, and the elegant ballerina sculpture suspended between two trees.
